Silver for Jean Philippe Cartier at Parcours France
This year Parcours France 24/25 th August 2013 was int the "Bois de Morval, commune Guiry en Vexin (Val d'Oise) north of Paris. After two days of shooting in the rain Jean Philippe got a silver medal in veteran longbow category.
There are no photos thes year. With rain the results are never good, but when I wanted to take a picture of the archers starting again after a the meal, with all the umbrellas open, the camera would not work. No more batteries and I fogot to take new ones.
155 archers startes on saturday, but only 133 finished all four courses. The others abandonned because of the bad weather. Nevertheless the two cubs longbow who where obliged by adults to stop shooting, got their medals after all. They were not the youngest, who was only eight years old (recurve), but went on, he was unlucky and only forth in his category.

Jean Philippe, veteran longbow won a class B silver medal in the European Field archery Championships in Sopron

The very first competion in march: L'Arbre à Plumes near Saint-Saud-Lacoussière. They have no room for meals so we have a picnic on the grounds.

It was cloudy and cold so the camera stayed in the car.
Competion in Toulouse
Every year at Easter the club of Toulouse has a competion, weatherforcast was bad. But we were lucky. Sunday was the only day without rain. Two of our archers went to Toulouse.

On our way home we wanted to try the road of the navigation system. But even after updating the new road to St Junien was unknown, And we got a message "no road".

The National Annual FFTL competition. Seven members of the club attended this year’s national competition at Trémolat. Over two days you complete four courses. Field, Hunter, Animal and 3D. The courses are over various terrain and some targets are difficult. This year was very good for the club as we came away with one gold veteran ladies recurve which was won by Jenny. Silver won by Sigrun for senior longbow and silver by Tony for historic bow. Jean-Philippe came forth in his group for longbow with Terry and Paul obtaining very good individual results. Wynona also had a good competition and all attendees gain some very good experience.
